Description

Absolutely lovely 6-panel (12 if you count the back side), quality lacquered Chinese story screen.  The Giant Panda is the subject and not only do the Chinese characters tell each story on each panel, but the pictures themselves do too.  The coloring is attractive and very stylish...black and white pandas with the shiny black lacquer and golden details, with some greens and spots of other color too, makes for a very pretty statement.  Small enough for a desk or table top, the folding screen is a traditional Chinese gift and decor piece, and this mini version is delightful.  China's National Treasure!
Each panel is about 9" x 3" and it comes in the original box, is in excellent condition, however the box is missing one of the ties.  It comes with its own polishing cloth too...

All items are sold "AS IS", we take our time to describe everything, good and bad, to the best of our ability.  Any discrepancies are unintentional...All items have the possibility of scuff and wear marks, dirt and dust, loss of plating, dings, chips, crazing, as well as missing pieces and need for repair. Again, the above description and photos are as honest as we can evaluate within our visual scope.  Sometimes we simply don't know (age, history, maker, company) and cannot find through reasonable research, if that's the case, we will state as such.
