Vintage Vanderwood Famous Dickens Characters Coffee Mugs Made in England Lot/4.
These vintage mugs are made in England by the Vanderwood China Company in the Staffordshire pottery factories of England. They depict different Dickens' famous colorful characters: Mr. Pecksniff & Sairey Gamp (Martin Chuzzlewit) and Bill Sikes & Mr. Bumble (Oliver Twist). On the bottom of each mug states: Vanderwood Made In England with felt pieces attached. These coffee cups are in excellent used condition.  They measure 4.5"H and are 2.75"D. Condition note: one of the mugs shows very minor wear in top. (pic #7) Please look at all pictures closely as they are part of the description and will be sold as is. These mugs would make a perfect gift for any collector of Dickens' memorabilia, literary memorabilia, illustration art, English pottery or mugs.
