vintage HOLIDAY INN LIDO BEIJING tiki style cocktail mug - CARTOON CREEPY CLOWN

A souvenir COCKTAIL MUG from the now-gone HOLIDAY INN - LIDO BEIJING in China. It looks like a kind of creepy clown or an old-timey cartoon character or possibly a figure from Chinese folklore. It's unique whatever it is and is apparently very rare. It's a tiki-style cocktail mug with a lid that has a straw hole. So fill it up, put the lid on, insert a straw and enjoy. It is ceramic, has two ear handles and looks hand painted. There are no markings on the bottom. It weighs a bit over a pound and stands about 5 1/4" tall with the lid on. It is in EXCELLENT condition, overall clean and intact but there are a few things to note. There is one chip on the top of the bottom piece, on the inside of the rim as can be seen in the last photo. There are some sporadic specks of paint loss and the most obvious of that can be most clearly seen in the close-up photo of the lid. The red nose and the black ears have some smaller specks of paint loss. And that's about it. Minor stuff that really doesn't detract.
