This seal is superbly, skillfully, expertly carved Soapstone.
The seal has an amazing color and great details: hand carved sign SAMANTHA (in both China and English) and unique figurine Pixiu header.
The Pixiu is a Chinese mythological figure according to Chinese Feng Shui teachings is warding off evil spirits and brings wealth and prosperity to your home.
Measurements:
3 inches tall x 1 3/4 inches wide
Base / Carving Area: 0.8 in x 0.8 in / 2.0 cm x 2.0 cm
Condition Overall Excellent, wear Consistent with Age inside of the box, minor signs of age and use consistent with age. Expected surface wear scratches consistent with age.
