Mottware is famous and fun pottery has been manufactured in the south of England in Torquay, Devon and surrounding area, from the 1870s until the factories closed in the 1960s.
It is usually of red clay decorated with bright glazes, cottages and mottos or sayings, Always fun and different and very collectible!
There is a very small chip on the creamer at the SPOUT it is very hard to see but you can feel it if you run your finger across the top, also the sugar dish has a small crack, DOESN'T go all the way through, some light crazing. These small imperfection DOESN'T take away from the beauty of this set, you can see that in the photos (Priced Accordingly).
