Pottery Pitcher Vase Applied Flowers Leaves Blue Polka Dot Gold Swirl England

Description

Nice vintage pottery pitcher/vase with applied white flowers, brown, blue and green leaves, with light blue polka dots and gold swirl, gold accents.  Bottom marked England with other makers marks.  Approx 7" in height to top of lifted spout, approx 6" in height to back side of spout, approx 5-1/2" in height to handle, approx 5" depth, approx 1-3/4" X 1-3/4" opening, approx 2-3/4" across bottom rim, approx 5" wide at widest point.  There are some signs of age/use/wear.  The applied leaf near the handle is partially gone on one side, the leaf on the bottom has a piece missing, the leaf on the right side has a piece missing.  There are a few small chips in the flowers and leaves.  There is crazing in the pottery.  There are a few imperfections in the pitcher, just the way the piece was made/age.  Along the neck on the side where there are no applied flowers is a stress line from the handle area approx 1-3/4" across the neck.  Some color/enamel fade/loss in areas.  Some wear on the bottom.  All shown in pictures.  There is some discoloration inside the pitcher on the bottom.  A nice vintage pitcher/vase with applied flowers and leaves.  Sold as is.
