Vintage 1950's Blue Beaded Woven Straw Raffia Handbag with Lucite Frame Handmade in Hong Kong
We are pleased to offer this collectible baby blue Beaded Handbag manufactured exclusively for LaRegale in Hong Kong. Cocktail purses such as this were sold by Neiman Marcus Brothers in the 1950s-1960s.
This woven straw/grass raffia & hand beaded purse has a plastic (possibly Lucite) frame and handle with a brass clasp at the top. The cloth lined interior, with small pocket, is in excellent condition. The label on the pocket reads: "Hand Made in Hong Kong exclusively for LaRegale Ltd". It measures 8-1/2" long by 8" wide.
This bag can be used as a formal evening handbag. You can fit your ID, a lipstick, a compact and keys inside. It is in excellent condition with no broken plastic beads. Just a lovely vintage purse that you are sure to want to add to your eveningwear wardrobe collection.
