Rare Vintage Original Godzilla Japanese Speed Poster for 1972 Film:
Godzilla vs. Gigan.
Sometimes considered a Japanese Insert Poster.
Photo Style.
US Release Title was Godzilla on Monster Island.
US Version is infamous for having Godzilla “speaking” to Anguirus (Angilas) . . . They banter back-and-forth like Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble as if they were being played backwards on a vinyl record!

Japanese Speed Posters are approx. 10" x 29" or 26 cm x 73 cm.
Poster has a fold in the middle, but it has been laying flat for many years.
Considered to be in Very Good to Near Mint condition.
I have been collecting Godzilla Items since 1977.
This Photo Style Speed Poster is very very rare.  I have only seen this poster for sale once, and when I did . . . I bought it!

A few years ago, I traveled hundreds of miles to meet Mr. Nakajima, and he was kind enough to autograph this poster for me.
His signature is in black, and is in the top part of the poster.
About a month ago, I again traveled hundreds of miles, this time to meet Mr. Satsuma.
He was happy to add his autograph to this poster.
His signature is in silver, and is over-written in the bottom part of the poster on the body of Gigan.
This is a genuine and original JAPANESE SPEED (MOVIE) POSTER issued by the studio when the film was released and meant for theatrical display.  However, please note that this poster was never displayed.
Poster will be shipped in an ultra-sturdy tube wrapped in kraft paper.

2.  The poster is currently bagged on acid-free backing to make it easier to show to prospective buyers.  It is not dry-mounted, linen-backed, or paper-backed.  It has never been framed or displayed.
