    Description

    Stunning Aesthetic Movement / Victorian era high-fired silicon ware vase by Doulton Lambeth of England.  This uniquely beautiful amphora-shaped vase features a criss-cross design with  delicate, lacy flowers with baby/navy blue borders accented with white floral patterns.  A fabulous piece from circa 1890.  Has a nice "ring" when it is lightly rapped, indicating very high fire in the kiln.  A lot of very skilled handiwork has definitely gone into this lovely piece!
    The design features hand-made elements that were sculpted and applied, truly an amazing feat!  Measures approximately 5 1/2" tall and is in very nice antique condition - no damage and no repairs noted.  Minor surface rubs may be present commensurate with age and light use.  Stamped on the bottom with the Doulton Lambeth Silicon Ware marks.
