Antique English ironstone dinner plate c1872 with armorial crest with the Latin motto "MESSIS AB ALTO".
MARKS:
English diamond registry mark for 1872.  Colorless impressed number 9.78.
CONDITION:
In good antique condition
free from chips, cracks, damages, repairs and restorations
with typical minor scratches and wear to the colors on the design.
There may be a few typical slight factory original imperfections possibly including glaze dimples, specs, or paint and color variations.  None are visually obvious or distracting unless noted.
MEASUREMENTS:
Maximum diameter is about 10 1/8 inches.
