Devon Pottery England 1 3/4" candle holder /Scent Bottle Hill's Violets.

Marked 'Genuine Devon Pottery', 'Made in  England'.
This measures 1 3/4inches tall, 2 1/2 inches at the base.
I thought this was a candle holder. In my research I see it as a Scent Bottle. There is no stopper or cork.
There are marks under the glaze after the word' Violets', and two marks on the leaf. These were made when the item was made.
I collected them because of the houses on them. This one has Violets on it.
