    Description

    This is a commemorative souvenir plate from the 1904 World's Fair also known as the Louisiana Purchase Exposition.  The face contains a logo with the words "St. Louis 1904" on a white background.  The wide border is a dark green and the edge is gold.  The back is marked "Manufactured by THE OHIO CHINA CO. East Palestine, O., U.S.A."  It measures 8-3/4" in diameter and weighs almost 15 oz.
    The glaze is heavily crackled, and there is underglaze staining on the front.  The green border nicked in a couple of places and the gold edge is worn away in several places.  Please examine the photographs carefully to fully assess the condition for yourself.
