Antique Fancy Art Nouveau Deco Ironstone Pitcher
"Rothesay" Pattern - Asiatic Poppies Poly Chrome
Made in Staffordshire England
by Bishop & Stonier Pottery
Mark used CA: 1899-1936 with the design
I feel the pitcher was made around 1910-1925
so close to 100 years old.
This Pitcher has a wonderful floral transfer of Poppies
very common in Victorian / Art Nouveau period
fancy handle & beautiful embossed spout
and base.
CONDITION
No chips, discoloration, or cracks, small amount
of crazing on the bottom and a little by the spout,
no discoloration in the crazing. A couple of very small
marks under the glaze. There when manufactured.
Handle & Spout in great shape, inside of pitcher is very clean.
Poppy transfer design in good condition.
The pitcher is in amazing good shape for it's age
