904 “America Welcomes the World” Medal, from the St. Louis World's Fair, also Known as the Louisiana Purchase Exposition, Celebrating its Centenary. BU, Bronze, Large Sized One at 50 mm, 60 grams.
The fair Occupied 1272 Acres in Forest Park and Washington University in, St. Louis, with more than 1,500 Buildings, Representing Over 100 States and Countries, attended by About 20 million visitors. Only one building remains, the Palace of Fine Arts, now the Saint Louis Art Museum.
